Protecting your privacy

In addition to our 'General Conditions', the client and WIT Webbing agree on the following articles.

“Us” or “we” means WIT Webbing.

“You” means the Client.

" Website" means a website designed by WIT Webbing

“ Web Package” means the Client’s website designed and hosted by WIT Webbing

“Bank Account” means the bank account held at the Client’s financial institution from which WIT Webbing is authorized to arrange for funds to be debited/credited.

“DDRS Agreement” means this Direct Debit Request Service Agreement between the Client and WIT Webbing.

“Banking day” or “Working Day” means a day other than a Saturday or a Sunday or a public holiday listed throughout Australia.

“Debit day” means the day that payment by the Client to WIT Webbing is due.

“Debit payment” means a particular transaction where a debit is made.

 “Your financial institution” is the financial institution where the Client holds the account that he/she has authorized WIT Webbing to arrange to debit.

A "Month" is a calendar month.

 

Protecting your privacy is fundamental for us. We treat very seriously the ongoing trust you have in us to protect your personal information.

Everything is made to protect your privacy whenever we collect, store, use or disclose your personal information.

 

1. What we may collect

When you purchase products and services from us, we may collect your name, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, date of birth, mailing address and payment details.

When you visit our website, we may record your computer hardware, origin, software types, domain name, access time and the referring web site. All this information is collected anonymously, will not be shared with any third party and cannot be used to personally identify you.

WIT Webbing's website may place a 'cookie' on your computer. This is a small, harmless text file which helps us collect statistical information as set out before.

If you suspect that we have inadvertently collected any sensitive information, then please contact us and we will destroy it promptly.

 

7. Emails

Your personal details may be included in correspondence such as emails. This information is stored so we can have a record of your support issues and assist you with problems in the future.

It may be necessary to store correspondence for a lengthy period of time where required to do so by law.
